I’m titling this book, More Encounters With God, as a sequel to the previous book I wrote in 2014 called Encounters With God. That first book has been read and enjoyed by many people over the years, as it chronicled both my life, which started in 1958 and my journey with Christ from 1980–2014. I was 56 when I wrote that book and 56 years of life and 34 years of walking with God resulted in quite a few experiences, stories, and, most importantly, encounters with God. Ten years have passed since I penned that book, and I guess I could have kicked back and taken it easy after 34 years of walking hard after God. I have followed God hard and passionately since coming to know Him in 1980. Perhaps it was time to kick back, take things easy, retire, and let the next generation take the Gospel to the world. But early in my Christian journey, I decided to continue following Christ hard, right to the very end of my life. Perhaps it was the Holy Spirit and the Apostle Paul who had inspired me to live this way.
